US CongressWeek: House To Return To Pass $26B State Aide Bill

WASHINGTON, Aug 9 (MNI) - The House will return to Washington Tuesday for a one day session to pass a $26 billion aid package to help state governments with their Medicaid expenses and to retain up to 145,000 school teachers.

The Senate passed the measure last week.

House passage of the measure, which is anticipated, would send the bill to President Obama for his signature.
