UK Data: Nov House Prices +0.2% M/M; -2.9% Y/Y - Hometrack
LONDON (MNI) - UK house prices rose by 0.2% in November from October and were down 2.9% from November 2008, house market intelligence business Hometrack reports.
This marks the fourth consecutive increase in house prices in this survey, Hometrack said.
Commenting on this month's survey, Richard Donnell, Director of Research cautioned that the pick up in prices as well as a rise in house market activity is not widespread across the UK:
"...This pick up in market activity and prices is not one that has been felt across the whole country. The stark reality is that there are large swathes of the country where prices have remained unchanged or have seen continued price falls."
